Britannia Industries, the venerable 130-year-old FMCG giant, has announced the appointment of Shree Saudamini Das as its head of social media and public relations.
Shree Das, was previously at Unacademy, Lenovo, and Xiaomi, where she served as director of public relations, India communications lead, and corporate communications lead, respectively.
Shree Das took to her LinkedIn profile last week to share the news: "After over a decade of building corporate reputation programs for the tech and start-up community, I am over the moon to tell the story of a 130+-year-old FMCG giant. I am very happy to share that I have joined Britannia Industries Limited to steer public relations and social media for the brand."
In her new role at Britannia Industries, Shree Das will play a pivotal role in shaping and narrating the brand's story. She is tasked with highlighting Britannia's journey towards becoming a global Total Foods Brand with the mandate to emphasise the brand's contribution to local economies.
Britannia Industries aims to leverage Shree Das's expertise to strengthen its communication strategy, engage with its audience on social media platforms, and enhance the public perception of the company.
