PR Pundit's (now PR Pundit Havas Red), engagement for Coke Studio’s “Sing to Remember” campaign has won a Silver Lion at the PR Cannes Lion under the category of “PR – Single Market Campaign”—the idea originator is VML India.
Archana Jain, CEO, of PR Pundit told PRmoment India earlier, “We are delighted that the jury has recognised our extensive outreach for Coke Studio India. The resurgence of Coke Studio in India aims to celebrate music from the hinterland - the new voices of India focused on celebrating the power of regional languages and cultures."
The PR outreach across 18 states with 1000+ editorial stories highlighted Coca-Cola’s commitment to celebrating music, diversity, culture and inclusivity.
2023 saw 10 song drops from Coke Studio in multiple languages including Gujarati and Kashmiri. The very popular Khalasi which is also the shortlisted work at the Lions, received 5 billion views across the music universe.
In 2017 PR Pundit became the first Indian PR firm to win at Cannes. The PR firm had picked up three Lions across two categories for ITC’s ‘Savlon Healthy Hands Chalk Sticks’ campaign.
PR Pundit secured top honours with a Gold in the Healthcare & Wellbeing category and a Bronze in the Corporate Communication & Reputation category at the Cannes PR Lions 2017. The PR strategy for the campaign was executed by PR Pundit, in close consultation with the PR & Media team at ITC. The campaign, conceptualized by Ogilvy & Mather and produced by Good Morning Mumbai, was aimed at encouraging behavioural change towards washing hands among children.
