PayPal India has taken on Pooja Sabharwal- formerly managing partner for corporate and finance with Genesis Burson- Marsteller- as their head of communications for India. Industry sources confirmed that Sabharwal will join PayPal from this Tuesday - 13th of October, 2015.
In July this year, eBay and PayPal split their operations and now trade separately- a move that market analysts says could make PayPal a company with higher market value then eBay. PayPal was first set up as a money transfer service by a group of founders including Peter Thiel and later merged with and relaunched under Elon Musk's online banking company, X.com. In 20012 , eBay bought PayPal and since the later has been eBay's fastest growing division.
