Former assistant editor at LiveMint, Anu Sharma, has now joined travel major MakeMyTrip as lead, of corporate communications.
Sharma makes the switch to corporate communications from journalism with nearly a decade of experience at organisations such as the Economic Times, CNBC-TV18 and Mint.
She announced her new role via LinkedIn earlier today. She stated, "Super excited to share that I have joined MakeMyTrip as Lead, Corporate Communication. I am excited to be a part of an organisation that has revolutionised the way Indians travel and I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with the smartest minds in the travel industry."
Recently the firm released a report on 'How India Travels Abroad' which stated that the number of Indians that travel twice a year internationally has jumped by 32% in June 2023 to May 2024.
