Genesis Burson-Marsteller host the 2013 Gabby Awards and form a new partnership

Genesis Burson-Marsteller have just hosted their annual internal awards ceremony, the Gabbys’ 2013.

The event that has been running for over ten years, rewards their employees from each of their seven offices for outstanding performances, commitment to the company and out-of-the-box thinking, among others.

This year the Gabbys’ was held in August and followed the ‘Digital way’ theme, which prompted many videos and performances to be made for the evening.

Along with the variety of awards being presented, the night also saw a number of Genesis Burson-Marsteller’s Associate Learning Program (ALP) trainees receive their graduation honours. The ALP is a scheme that has been running for over 11 years and, for the candidates chosen, provides a year of training that includes classroom study, on the job learning and self-evaluation.

The awards categories this year included the above and beyond award, the soul of Genesis BM awards, the backbone of genesis BM award, Campaign of the year and most creative solution for a client.                                                                                

The Technology and Telecom practice received the Gabby for Team and Practice of the year. The surprise award came at the end of the evening when Prema Sagar, Principal  & Founder, Genesis Burson-Marsteller was given recognition for having completed the twenty year milestone at the company.

WordWorks Communication Consultancy has partnered with Genesis Burson-Marsteller to grow their capabilities mutually within the sports and luxury sectors.

WordWorks was founded in 2009 and since then has developed a niche focus in the area of Sports and Luxury PR, an area that is predicted to become a key luxury market in the Asia-Pacific region.
