Ashwani Singla, MD and Chief Executive for Penn Schoen Berland (PSB), is stepping down from his role at PSB. Market sources confirmed that today is Singla’s last day at the research based communications firm.Singla has been at the helm of PSB in India for and Asia over 4 years-during this time the company worked with the BJP in the run up to the general elections to provide survey based messaging inputs.
Penn Schoen Berland is a part of Y& R Brands and WPP group and has a strong background in political consulting.Sources said that Singla is exploring the entrepreneurial route for his next stint in PR and communications. Before joining PSB, he was Chief Executive of Genesis BM and member of the Asia Pacific Board of Burson-Marsteller Worldwide. He also helped to set up Clea PR in 1995.
